Today, having completed all the necessary induction training and quizzes the next task was based on familiarizing oneself with various protocols and its accompanying documentation.
The methods in place are very well designed with no task too small to be noted. As a result there are many different document types and requirements which in turn requires a time to remember all of their names and their accompanying abbreviations. I’ve found it quite useful to maintain a notebook for now jotting down various bits of information that I may be required to remember or refer to later. As it stands there is about 3 or 4 A5 pages for just abbreviations and their definitions alone.
While tasks like these may be tedious at time and require a lot of focus to commit the data to memory it will prove fruitful later on during the internship but also as good practice for return to college and future employment as the methodology is highly impressive.
