Configuring Wi-Fi connectivity is very straightforward for the Da Vinci Jr 2.0 Mix as you’ll find below. However I personally hit a few stumbles along the way hence writing this post to help others avoid my pitfalls.
Before doing the steps listed below ensure the printer is on but in standby/not printing and you have the XYZware software installed
Step 1: Connect your printer up via the USB connection to your machine which has the XYZware software installed
Step 2: Open up the XYZware software and click on the “Printer Monitor” Icon in the bottom right hand corner
Step 3: When the pop up appears select “My Printer Option”.
A second pop up window will appear beside it and you should see your printer present and noted as connected via a COM port (the USB connection).
Step 4: Select Wireless settings
Step 5: The next window select the “Scan” option to scan for local networks
Step 6: Once the scan is complete click the drop down arrow in the “Wireless Connection” field and select your network
Step 7: Enter your password and click “Start Wireless Connection”
Step 8: When prompted Click “Yes” to start wireless connection
Step 9 : Once connected a pop up with the printers new IP will appear, click ok.
Congrats!!! Now you can send prints to your machine wirelessly
